Melissa

Registered Dental Assistant

Mel has been in dentistry as an assistant since 1998. She enjoys working with her patients and helping them to achieve a beautiful smile.  She works with the team to provide a positive environment for both patients and team members.  Mel’s role in the office as Dr. Claus’ assistant is critical for delivering excellent patient care.

Mel was born and raised in Elizabethton, she has a wonderful daughter, a great husband, two big dogs, and a cat to keep her busy.  In her spare time, she enjoys camping, motorcycles, and going to the beach.  Mel is grateful for having a very blessed life.

Jennifer

Office Manager / Patient Coordinator

Jennifer works closely with patients to make sure treatment is conveniently scheduled and financially attainable, regardless of their insurance coverage. She started working in dentistry in 1998, thanks to her husband who is a dentist. She really enjoys being a part of a small office where everyone is like family. We genuinely care about each other and enjoy spending time together in and out of the office.

Jennifer and her husband Steve have three children: Matt, Drew, and Kaylee. They love traveling, skiing, kayaking, and most outdoor activities.
